News of TinyMDM
Future versions of TinyMDM will no longer be compatible with Android 6
To ensure the security and optimal performance of TinyMDM on all Android devices, we would like to inform you that future versions of our application will no longer be compatible with Android 6. In practice, this means that if you have Android 6 devices already enrolled on your TinyMDM account, they will continue to work with the current version of TinyMDM (3.04805), which will be the last compatible version. As of November 2023, it will no longer be possible to enroll new Android 6 devices on your account. Google took a similar step several years ago, stopping Play Store updates and then security updates for Android 6 devices, as of 2019. We strongly encourage you to renew your fleet of outdated devices, so as not to be exposed to potential vulnerabilities and continue to benefit from Google security updates and the latest TinyMDM features.
