MDM success story: Líder Atacadista

Deployment of a simple MDM solution for the Wholesale and Retail Food sector

Líder Atacadista is a company based in Brazil, specifically in the state of Santa Catarina. It operates in the Wholesale and Retail Food sector for 18 years. Its mission is to provide customers with the best shopping experience and cost-benefit ratio, in order to meet their needs and have a lasting impact on the development of society and businesses.

Líder Atacadista needed to manage its mobile devices and efficiently deliver policies on its mobile fleet. Its biggest challenge was to find a stable MDM solution that was easy to configure. In Brazil, where Líder Atacadista is located, there were many MDM solutions available at the time of their search, but these didn’t meet their simplicity requirements. As the company was looking for an easy-to-use and stable Mobile Device Management solution, it had to find a foreign solution.

TinyMDM was the solution for Líder Atacadista due to its ease of use, its ease of enrollment through a QR code, and especially the stability of the solution. Despite the language differences in support (as TinyMDM is available in English but not yet in Portuguese), the product fits the company needs, which has had few support requests over the years.

Regarding the features that were the most important for Líder Atacadista, the first one was the enrollment of devices using only a QR code and the second one was the history of the devices’ locations. Despite these two features, Líder Atacadista also appreciates the possibility to create a kiosk mode, define wallpaper policies, the possibility to distribute digital certificates as well as the possibility to install private and public applications from the PlayStore.

“We made a suggestion to TinyMDM that we needed to have a history of the devices’ locations, and in the following months, TinyMDM developed this feature. TinyMDM is easy to use, the portal is highly intuitive, and we had no difficulty using the platform during the 30-day trial period.”
