Tablet management at school

1 minute

Tablets are increasingly present in schools, serving as valuable teaching tools. According to ZDNET’s 2024 data, 73% of teachers in the USA use tablets to share teaching content with students, and 45% use them to access websites via search browsers. Furthermore, 92% of teachers recognize that tablets have significantly improved their ability to access content, resources, and materials for their lessons. Pew Research Center’s 2022 data indicates that 8 out of 10 students find that tablets make learning more enjoyable. Tablets are used to access teaching resources, collaborate on group projects, and conduct student evaluations, enhancing the overall learning experience.

However, their use raises security and management challenges that need to be addressed. Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions enable educational establishments to overcome these challenges by securing devices, managing applications, and protecting sensitive data.
