Manage APN configuration

An Access Point Name (APN) is the name of the configuration that your smartphone reads to create a connection between your provider’s network and the public internet. It means that it contains all the details your device needs to connect to a certain mobile data network (the network of your SIM card operator). Many smartphones automatically configure themselves when a new SIM card is added and it tries to connect to the network of this new operator. But this doesn’t always happen and sometimes you have to configure the APN manually.

Go on to the APN tab on your console and click on Configure an APN.

You can enter the name of your choice on the Name field.

To complete the rest of the fields, you need to contact the mobile operator that provides you the SIM card. The operator will be able to give you all the fields you need to complete in order for the APN to be configured.
