Depending on your policies, you can adjust the level of freedom granted to users, such as whether or not to enable geolocation, set up internet filtering, or restrict access to the Play Store, ensuring that usage complies with corporate requirements.

The mobile device configured in COBO (Corporate-Owned Business Only) mode is for business use only. This means that the IT administrator can apply a strict policy, minimizing the risk of data leakage. Among the measures applicable to the terminal are the following:

A Play Store restricted to professional use
As previously mentioned, the Play Store visible to the user is by default restricted to applications authorized via the TinyMDM administration console. Users can browse the Play Store to install or update business applications previously authorized via TinyMDM, but are not allowed to add new ones directly.
